Watch Two East-Coasters Score Mega Ramps and Spitting Tubes in Texas
June is a tough month to be an east coast surfer. At least, it used to be. Thanks to Waco Surf, on demand wedges and ramps are now just a quick flight away. With summer doldrums in full swing in the Atlantic, Cam Richards and Noah Schweizer fled to Waco, Texas, home to the most reliable wave in America. While Waco's been around for a decade now, the mad scientists behind the scenes are always tweaking the tech. Each year brings a new wedge, a bigger ramp, and even a better barrel. In the edit above, Richards and Schweizer get more than their moneys worth during one June day: Greasing full rotes, tech spins, and even getting spit out of tubes. While nothing can replace a good old-fashioned surf trip, when it comes to wave count and opportunity, a day in Waco can't be topped. That said, can you still call it "scoring" when it's guaranteed?
