Daria Bilodid back at the highest podium as triple European champ
In the last final of the first day of the European Championships in Zagreb, Kaja Kajzer of Slovenia faced off against Daria Bilodid of Ukraine. Bilodid, known for her accomplishments at -48kg, was competing in the -57kg category and aimed to regain her dominance on the international stage. Despite Kajzer's strong performance and previous win against Bilodid, the Ukrainian judoka controlled the contest, leading Kajzer to accumulate three shidos and securing Bilodid her first title in her new category.

Telma Monteiro gives Portugal dream start
Portugal has had an amazing start of the European Championships in Lisbon. The gold medal by Telma Monteiro was the best wish the organisation could make and Monteiro once more realized to become the best of Europe. In the final she defeated Slovenia’s Kaja Kajzer in the category U57kg.

Judo in the time of Covid-19: Kaja Kajzer
Slovenian judoka Kaja Kajzer was still a teen when she won the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv this year, an early birthday present. The youngster always had to fighter older rivals and that made her who she is now. She medalled at the Junior Worlds and now her focus is to qualify for the Games. She even took a sabbatical to realise it. Covid-19 though prolongs that period and JudoCrazy’s Oon Yeoh asked how Kaja is dealing with the situation.
