Former Duke Great Happily Explained What Got Him Ejected From His Son’s Youth Basketball Game
Former Duke great JJ Redick no longer plays in the NBA but the competitive fire still burns within him and that was apparent last weekend when he was ejected from his 8-year-old son’s basketball game in New Jersey. Redick, who played 15 years in the NBA before calling it quits after the 2020–21 season, told his ejection story on his podcast, The Old Man and the Three, this week. The former 3-point specialist was coaching his son’s game when he had a bit of a run-in with the ref in the final minutes. After getting a technical for questioning a call, the ref then tossed him over a another question that Redick asked.
