49ers, DT Javon Hargrave Agree to Four-Year Contract, per Report
The Pro Bowler played three seasons with the Eagles. The 49ers and former Eagles defensive tackle Javon Hargrave have agreed to a four-year, $80 million deal, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday. The deal also guarantees Hargrave $40 million when he signs with the 49ers, which he won’t be able to do until 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 15, when the 2023 season officially begins. Hargrave is coming off three seasons in Philadelphia, which includes a Super Bowl LVII appearance in which the Eagles lost 38–35 to the Chiefs last month. He earned his one Pro Bowl berth in 2021 while with the Eagles. His three-year contract with the Eagles was set to expire this offseason.
