Miku Takaichi takes gold and shows huge international comeback
There were times that three women dominated the IJF World Tour and all the big prizes in the category for women U63kg. Clarisse Agbegnenou, Tina Trstenjak and Miku Takaichi, also known as Miku Tashiro. For the time being at the 54th place in the world, but she will rose fast after the victory at the Grand Slam in Tokyo this weekend where she showed her skills once more after her Kodokan Cup win a few weeks ago.

Miku Tashiro back in the picture winning Kodokan Cup
At the Kodokan Cup in Chiba the women fought for the medals. The Kodokan is considered an important tournament to get access to international competitions such as the Grand Slam in Tokyo, the last Grand Slam this year. The most eyecatching name on the podium was Miku Tashiro, in fact with Clarisse Agbegnenou and Tina Trstenjak the leading women in international judo in the U63kg category. Since they left the international scene it left a huge gap where Megumi Horikawa filled in the world title.

Clarisse Agbegnenou claims fifth World title
Clarisse Agbegnenou was again judo in a great shape. She took her fifth World title in her career and has a lot of years to go. In the moment there is no one who can beat her, only Miku Tashiro could give her a good match, but Agbegnenou is the undisputed favourite for that desired gold backpatch.
